Getting started

  1. Install and open Vector ACARS. It lives in your menu bar or system tray.
  2. Choose Sign in with Vector Airlines. Your browser opens; approve the connection and you're back in the app.
  3. Add your SimBrief pilot ID in Settings so the app can load your flight plans.
  4. X-Plane 12 users: the app talks to X-Plane's built-in web API, which is on by default from version 12.1.1. No plugin needed.
  5. For in-cockpit messages, set your aircraft's ACARS network to Hoppie and send requests to VCR.
